Good food, Great vibes

This eclectic European cafe inspired restaurant space is the second location for Pazza Notte. A custom mosaic tiled entry welcomes you in and references their NYC location. The tin ceilings, decorative mouldings, glass transom, collected objects and gallery walls are all nods to the past. So many great details make this charming space feel like it has always been in Sacramento.

A river runs through it

The tribe’s ties to the Sacramento/Verona river were the inspiration for the Verona Coffeehouse and cafe. We used the wood ceiling and floorings to mimic the movement of the water. The fish scale basket lights, metal reeds and blue tile also reference the inspirational river. These elements all combine to create this welcoming gathering space inside Red Hawk Casino.

An updated buffet at Red Hawk Casino

This project was a renovation of the existing buffet inside Red Hawk Casino. We kept the same layout, but updated the flooring, lighting and finishes throughout the serving and dining areas. The custom carpet, layers of wood, metal and stone all contribute to the new modern mountain style.

New look and location, still the same fresh food

This local eatery has been going strong within the community and we were able to help create the vision for their brand in their first ever ground up location. The inspiration was fresh/farmhouse which pairs well with the style of food that they serve. The space is bright and airy with a touch of industrial, grounded with natural wood and pops of blue and leather straps in the custom built-in banquette seating.

A local favorite expands to Rocklin

This Buckhorn BBQ + Grill location started out as a Mel’s Diner and saw a complete transformation into this industrial modern space. We kept the interior and walls light and bright and opened up the ceilings to expose all the existing wood gluelams. Layers of wood, brick and metal were balanced with black accents, pops of the “Buckhorn” orange color and a bold graphic branded mural.

A modern take on a Persian interior

This space was transformed from an existing dark sushi restaurant into a bright modern Persian gathering spot. The interior was designed to be light and airy and incorporate their branding with a vibrant wall mural. Custom wood screens, lighted recessed arches and gold accents help create a balanced inviting interior.

Fine dining in downtown Sacramento

Our Prelude Kitchen & Bar project was a refresh of an existing restaurant that included unifying the spaces with paint, mirrors and custom furniture. A bright and open layout allows for large parties or intimate dining. This two-story space includes two bars, several dining areas, private event space, and an outdoor patio with a view of the state Capitol.

Small town church with urban vibes

Working with such a devoted group of people on this one was the key to success. JPlus Architects was the brains of this beautiful space for the folks in Rancho Murieta. This existing building remodel transformed an old first floor space into a large and airy sanctuary space, six carefully curated themed children’s classrooms, a playful youth room, a cafe and a full commercial kitchen.

Loft style workspace meets the burbs

Transforming this ordinary office condo space to a loft style co-working environment was so much fun with one of our favorite clients! This two-story office space provides common meeting and reception space with private offices, with the perk of a cycling studio. This modern space is done in a neutral color pallet with raw concrete floors and a touch of warmth with the suspended wood ceilings.

If we design it, they will build it

Who says contractors can't have it all? Our construction client has completely elevated their image with this take on industrial design. We worked with GP Development to create a beautiful space for their team. Sealed concrete, raw steel and the glass all work together perfectly in this space. We added pops of bright color along with bold patterned wallcovering which make this office feel like a great collaborative space.

Run, don't walk, to get your fill of fitness retail therapy

This Fleet Feet Folsom location was part of the growth and success of a previous location and the need for expansion. This once drab and typical retail space has been transformed into an industrial and modern space. New skylights add natural light to the exposed ceiling and a new storefront to open up the space. Key elements were cladding the existing glulam beams and columns with Stikwood, neutral paint colors and wood flooring, all to highlight the merchandise.

Pink goes with everything

Working with Dr. Milstein on her second location, we were able to elevate the design to bring a colorful and modern office nestled in the Sierra Foothills. The practice features bold pops of pink and accents of purple, meshing their branding with the interior design. A custom felt ceiling in the open bay provides patients with an interesting view during their treatment while also helping with the acoustics in a large open space. Custom imagery from a local photographer paired with colorful tilework and panoramic views makes this a must see!

Care. Community. Culture.

This project spans over 40,000 square feet and is a place welcoming the Sacramento Native American community to access medical, dental, youth and adult services. The reuse of an old auto dealership and service center helped revitalize the community and surrounding area. The interior design presents a welcoming environment filled with color, pattern and textures without sacrificing the need for extreme durability in a facility of this nature.

Smiling’s my favorite

Cotati is one of only two towns nationwide with a hexagon street pattern instead of the standard grid which inspired the design of this dental practice interior. Angular patterns in the ceiling design, flooring and hexagon wall tile all reflect the unique traits of this quaint town. Natural walnut, black metal finishes, glass and soft color tones all create a comfortable ambience for this dental office.

The new space includes reception, an expanded waiting area, three additional exam rooms, food storage, as well as an expanded treatment and lab space.

Fun filled smiles all around

In this office, we took inspiration from Dr. Jeff’s brand, expertise in orthodontics, love for precision and built upon it. With the bold colors of lime green and electric blue in both the flooring, accent walls and furniture, we paired some warmth in the custom wood ceiling that carries your view towards the moss wall in the patient area. Hexagons are playfully used in different locations within the space from the graphic black and white wallcovering, the carved panels in the reception desk and the carpet tiles. With such great energy in the design, it will pair well with Dr. Jeff and his team for years to come.
